Cuong Tran Graduated at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (GO HUSKERS) with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics.  With over 25 years of experience in technology, starting off in IT operations.  Moved to California in 1999 and worked for the Startup company Andiamo, which was acquired by Cisco Systems. Worked inside Cisco’s Data Center and Cloud business unit over 12 years across various Data Center products (MDS, Nexus, UCS, CloudCenter, ACI, Tetration and NAE).

Founded Lumos back in 2012 with the concept of helping customers navigate the fast growing Data Center technologies and the prevalent Cloud into customer’s environment.  Lumos has been helping customers design, implement and operate their Data Center SDN network, Hybrid-Cloud solution and continual expansion into the virtualized and containerized environment.

I love to travel and have visited all 7 continents, 59 countries and have climb Mount Kilimanjaro. On occasions, I do enjoy a very nice bottle of Brunello.
